Questions

Good questions
deserve real answers.

How is this different from a home inspection?
A home inspection is a snapshot — one day, one inspector, what they can see. The Deed is a timeline — years of documented repairs, receipts, and contractor records. You want both. The inspection tells you the condition today. The Deed tells you what happened to get there.
Can sellers edit their repair history?
Public permit records are pulled directly from county databases and cannot be edited. Owner-logged entries are clearly labeled as such. Buyers can see the source of every record in the report.
What happens when I sell my home?
The deed stays with the house. The new owner creates an account, claims the property, and inherits the full history. Your repairs become part of the permanent record — which makes the home more valuable to every future buyer.
What areas are covered for permit data?
We currently cover approximately 85% of the US population through our permit database partners. If your area isn't covered yet, you can still build your deed manually — and permit data will be added as we expand coverage.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted and stored securely. Row-level security means only you can access your property records. Shareable report links are token-based, expire after 90 days, and can be revoked at any time.
